In 2005, our stallion, Huxley, gave us another group of exceptional foals. He continues to pass on his short back, classic head, soft eye, and tight ears. In 2005, he sired two purebred fillies: Bey Satine a highly refined bay out of Bey Arabesque, a Cartell daughter, and Mon Aimee a very tall filly. We also bred Huxley to two Paints, and these two fillies combine Huxley's dramatic features with some of the boldest paint markings imaginable. The first is dba Domino and the second is dba Calico Girl. Finally, there is All Afire. When we bred Baske Afire to LV Caradjill (a Karadjorge granddaughter) we were expecting a quality performance horse. What we got was a chestnut colt whose movements are the perfect expression of his bloodlines, and whose head is a handsome example of classic Arabian type. All Afire will make his first appearance under saddle in 2008, as a Country English Pleasure or English Pleasure competitor. In training with Todd Hickerson, All Afire is for sale. |
